BCG is pleased to announce that Clinton Kelly, Senior Consultant, has received his Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from Brigham Young University. Prior to completing his Ph.D., Clinton completed a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. Throughout his career, Clinton has had a particular interest in applying the principles and theories of job analysis, test development, and test validation to address the very practical issues organizations face each day. He has found that “the increasingly complex issues our clients face with employee selection rarely fit nicely into the textbook definitions and require us to continually expand our knowledge and explore new options…I wanted to continue to grow/learn so that I could better assist with the unique situations of our clients.” Clinton’s passion for knowledge is what drove him to go back to school to seek his Ph.D. while continuing his employee selection work with clients.
For nearly 45 years, the experts at BCG have worked with organizations to provide customized solutions that improve their hiring practices, resulting not only in fair and valid tests, but tests that also provide organizations with more productive and efficient employees. As part of the BCG team, Clinton’s goal is to continue to uphold the BCG brand as experts in the field of employee selection who can provide customized solutions for organizations. Additionally, Clinton is expanding BCG’s list of solutions by leading a team of testing experts in developing off-the-shelf testing options for common job titles within specific industries. This will allow organizations to leverage BCG’s expertise in providing defensible, yet customized, employee selection solutions at a fraction of the cost.
